Arlington Community Facilities Study – 2015
Arlington County has needs for new facilities, both for County programs and for Schools. In January 2015 County Board Chairman Mary Hynes launched a community-wide Facilities Study Group to identify all of the facilities that Arlington will need, and to formalize a process to make siting decisions for those facilities. The group was charged with conducting an exhaustive study of the needs of the entire county, and to present a report of its findings, both to the County Board as well as the Board of Arlington Public Schools (APS) by November 2015.
